In 1-2 sentences, explain why you are running for District 11 and what motivated you to seek this position.
I’m running for reelection because the people of this district deserve leadership and representation from someone with experience and an established record of solving issues in the community large and small. I confidently stand behind my record of service to the 11th district and want to continue to provide the high level of constituent service the residents here deserve and have come to expect from their councilman.
In 1-2 sentences, describe how your background and/or previous experience has prepared you to serve as Councilman.
I have served in office since October 2014. Prior to that I was a senior IT auditor with the US Government Accountability Office, responsible for saving taxpayers over $274 million over eight years of service, an experience I have brought with me and utilized everyday on the City Council.
What are your top 3 priorities or key goals if elected as Councilman?
In City Council District 11, my priorities revolve around public safety (reducing violent and quality of life crimes while enabling communities, residents, and businesses to be a part of the public safety solution), creating economic opportunity (working to ensure development benefits the surrounding communities and that real family-sustaining jobs are created for residents of our City), and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of core City services (through appropriations, effective oversight, and policy changes).
What do you see as the most pressing issue facing District 11 residents right now?
In City Council District 11 and throughout the City, reducing violent crime and quality of life crimes; economic opportunity; and delivery of reliable core city services.

I have committed my life to this position over the past decade and am humbly asking for the support of 11th District voters to continue serving them for another four years.
